Some campaigns come and go. Others leave a cultural imprint.
Rémy Martin’s Two Cities. One Spirit. campaign proved that the strongest cultural moments aren’t built around one event, they’re built through collaboration, shared experiences and the people driving the culture forward.
What started on World Cognac Day evolved into a journey that connected music, nightlife, fashion and creativity before reaching its biggest moment during Hollywoodbets Durban July weekend.
Rather than centering everything around a single activation, Rémy Martin transformed the city into a living experience, taking over some of Durban’s most influential cultural spaces and bringing together artists, creators, tastemakers and music lovers under one shared vision.

At the heart of the campaign were cultural ambassadors Que DJ and Asvnte, whose influence and sound became the thread connecting every stop along the journey. Their ability to move seamlessly between music, nightlife and culture perfectly reflected the campaign’s message that great things happen when different worlds come together.
The weekend kicked off on Thursday with an intimate dinner at The Room, celebrating Asvnte through an evening of meaningful conversations, premium hospitality and the signature conviviality that Rémy Martin is known for.
Friday shifted the energy to Brown Sugar, where Asvnte and Que DJ hosted an experience that showcased Durban’s vibrant creative scene through music, connection and community.
Saturday delivered the campaign’s biggest cultural moment as Rémy Martin welcomed guests to the Opulence Marquee at the Hollywoodbets Durban July. Surrounded by fashion, craftsmanship and celebration, the experience embodied the Maison’s commitment to excellence before the celebrations continued well into the night at Envy, one of Durban’s premier nightlife destinations.
The momentum carried into Sunday with an exclusive Rémy Martin yacht experience along Durban’s coastline, giving invited guests another unique setting to connect through music and conversation.
The campaign wrapped up on Monday at Mkhize’s Rooftop, where media, partners and cultural tastemakers gathered for one final celebration overlooking the city, bringing the Two Cities. One Spirit. journey to a fitting close.
The campaign wasn’t simply about hosting premium experiences. It was about demonstrating how music, fashion, nightlife and culture can intersect to create something bigger than the sum of its parts.
Speaking on the initiative, Amaury Vinclet, General Manager for Rémy Martin, said the campaign reflects the very essence of Rémy Martin VSOP.
“We are proud to launch Two Cities. One Spirit., an initiative that perfectly embodies the spirit of Rémy Martin VSOP. This unique collaboration between Durban and Los Angeles, driven by talents like Asvnte and Que DJ, is an ode to creativity and cultural connection, values dear to Rémy Martin and resonating with the balance of our eaux-de-vie.”
Just as Rémy Martin VSOP blends different eaux-de-vie into one harmonious expression, Two Cities. One Spirit. demonstrated what becomes possible when music, creativity and community move together with a shared purpose.
If Durban July 2026 reminded us of anything, it’s that culture is always at its best when it’s collaborative.
